  1. Peel the quince fruit carefully to remove the tough skin and core, then chop into small pieces.
  2. Place the chopped quince pieces and water into a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer the quince until soft, about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  4. Add the granulated white sugar, fresh orange juice, orange zest, and fresh lemon juice to the softened quince in the saucepan.
  5. Stir the mixture well and continue to simmer on low heat, stirring frequently, until the jam thickens, about 30 minutes.
  6. To test the jam consistency, place a small spoonful on a cold plate and let it cool; if it wrinkles when pushed, it is ready.
  7. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the jam cool slightly before transferring it to a sterilized jar for storage.
