  • 1 piece bread slice crust removed
  • 30 ml whole milk
  • 30 g onion diced
  • 1 piece garlic clove minced
  • 30 g carrot grated
  • 10 g unsalted butter
  • 0.5 piece egg beaten
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper ground
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 100 ml tomato sauce

  1. Soak bread slice in whole milk until soft, then squeeze out excess milk.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, soaked bread, diced onion, minced garlic, grated carrot, beaten egg, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into a flat oval.
  5. Roll each oval tightly to form meat rolls, sealing edges to keep shape.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  7. Add meat rolls and cook, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides, about 8 minutes.
  8. Add tomato sauce to the pan and reduce heat to low.
  9. Cover and simmer meat rolls in sauce for 15 minutes until cooked through.
  10. Remove meat rolls from pan and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
