  • 150 g ripe red tomato diced
  • 1 piece red chili pepper minced
  • 50 g small white onion diced
  • 1 piece garlic clove minced
  • 5 g fresh ginger minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 pinch salt

  1. Wash and dice the ripe red tomato into small pieces.
  2. Peel and finely dice the small white onion.
  3. Peel and mince the garlic clove.
  4. Peel and mince the fresh ginger.
  5. Remove seeds and finely mince the red chili pepper.
  6. Heat the vegetable oil in a small pan over medium heat.
  7. Add the diced onion to the pan and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
  8. Add the minced garlic, ginger, and red chili pepper to the pan and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  9. Add the diced tomato to the pan and cook for 5 to 7 minutes until the tomato breaks down and the sauce thickens.
  10. Season the sauce with a pinch of salt and stir well.
  11. Remove the pan from heat and stir in the fresh lime juice.
  12. Let the sauce cool slightly before serving.
