  • 100 g shrimp peeled raw
  • 100 g sole fillet skinless raw
  • 15 g unsalted butter
  • 10 g all purpose flour
  • 150 ml whole milk
  • 30 g grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 piece garlic clove minced
  • 30 g onion diced
  • 5 ml lemon juice fresh
  • 5 g fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper ground

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 Fahrenheit).
  2. Rinse shrimp and sole fillet under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Cut sole fillet into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Melt unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Add diced onion and minced garlic clove to the butter and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle all purpose flour over the butter and onion mixture and stir continuously for 1 minute to form a roux.
