  • 15 ml olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 piece garlic clove minced
  • 1 piece fresh rosemary sprig
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest grated
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper ground
  • 50 ml chicken broth low sodium

  1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees Celsius (375 Fahrenheit).
  2. Pat turkey thigh dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub turkey thigh with olive oil evenly on all sides.
  4. Sprinkle sea salt and ground black pepper over the turkey thigh.
  5. Add minced garlic and lemon zest, rubbing gently into the skin.
  6. Place fresh rosemary sprig on top of the turkey thigh.
  7. Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  8. Sear turkey thigh skin side down in the skillet until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  9. Flip turkey thigh and sear the other side for 3 minutes.
  10. For chicken broth into the skillet around the turkey thigh.
  11. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  12. Roast turkey thigh for 25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 75 degrees Celsius (165 Fahrenheit).
  13. Remove skillet from oven and let turkey rest for 5 minutes before serving.
