- 120 g canned tuna in water drained
- 15 g mayonnaise
- 5 g dijon mustard
- 20 g celery stalk finely chopped
- 15 g red onion finely chopped
- 5 ml lemon juice fresh
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper ground
- 2 piece sourdough bread slice
- 2 piece cheddar cheese slice
- 10 g unsalted butter softened

- Drain canned tuna thoroughly and place in a medium bowl.
- Add mayonnaise, dijon mustard, finely chopped celery, finely chopped red onion, and fresh lemon juice to the bowl with tuna.
- Mix all ingredients gently until well combined.
- Season the tuna mixture with a pinch of salt and ground black pepper, then stir again.
- Spread unsalted butter evenly on one side of each sourdough bread slice.
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Place one slice of bread butter-side-down onto the skillet.
- Spread the tuna mixture evenly over the bread slice in the skillet.
- Place two slices of cheddar cheese on top of the tuna mixture.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side-up.
- Cook the sandwich for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom bread is golden brown and cheese starts to melt.
- Carefully flip the sandwich using a spatula and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown and cheese is fully melted.
- Remove the sandwich from the skillet and let it rest for 1 minute before slicing and serving.
