- 200 g pork chop bone-in
- 5 g fresh basil leaves chopped
- 60 ml marsala wine dry
- 15 g unsalted butter
- 1 piece garlic clove minced
- 30 g shallot minced
- 10 ml olive oil extra virgin
- 100 ml chicken broth low sodium
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper ground

Instructions
- Pat dry the pork chop with paper towels and season both sides with salt and ground black pepper.
- Heat extra virgin olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Place the pork chop in the skillet and sear for 4 minutes on one side without moving it.
- Flip the pork chop and cook for another 3 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove pork chop and set aside on a plate.
- Reduce heat to medium and add unsalted butter to the skillet.
- Add minced shallot and garlic clove to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes until softened and fragrant, stirring frequently.
- For in dry marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to loosen browned bits.
- Simmer the sauce for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in chopped fresh basil leaves and remove the skillet from heat.
- Return the pork chop to the skillet and spoon sauce over it to coat before serving.
