- 1 piece large egg
- 30 ml whole milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 60 g mixed dried fruits chopped (raisins, currants, candied orange peel)
- 20 g chopped almonds unsalted
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 5 g powdered sugar for dusting

- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Grease a small cake pan with unsalted butter and lightly dust with flour.
- In a mixing bowl, cream the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the large egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat well.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with whole milk, mixing gently until combined.
- Fold in the chopped mixed dried fruits and chopped unsalted almonds evenly into the batter.
