  • 100 g cod fillet skinless
  • 50 g raw shrimp peeled
  • 50 g scallop meat fresh
  • 15 g unsalted butter
  • 10 g all-purpose flour
  • 100 ml whole milk
  • 30 g grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 piece garlic clove minced
  • 30 g onion diced
  • 5 ml lemon juice fresh
  • 5 g fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper ground

  1. Preheat oven to 190 Celsius (375 Fahrenheit).
  2. Cut cod fillet into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Peel and devein raw shrimp if not done already.
  4. Chop fresh parsley finely.
  5. Mince garlic clove and dice onion.
  6. In a medium saucepan, melt unsalted butter over medium heat.
  7. Add diced onion and minced garlic to butter and cook until soft and translucent, about 3 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle all-purpose flour over the butter mixture and stir constantly for 1 minute to make a roux.
  9. Gradually whisk in whole milk to the roux, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  10. Cook sauce until it thickens, about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  11. Add lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to the sauce and mix well.
  12. In a mixing bowl, combine cod pieces, shrimp, scallop meat, and chopped parsley.
  13. For the sauce over the seafood mixture and gently fold to coat evenly.
  14. Transfer the seafood mixture into a small ovenproof casserole dish.
  15. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese evenly on top of the seafood mixture.
  16. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  17. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
