- 40 g granulated sugar
- 1 piece large egg whole
- 1 piece large egg yolk
- 20 g all purpose flour sifted
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 220 C (425 F).
- Grease a 6 ounce ramekin with unsalted butter and dust with cocoa powder, tapping out excess.
- In a microwave safe bowl, combine chopped bittersweet chocolate and unsalted butter.
- Microwave in 20 second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, large egg whole, and large egg yolk until pale and thick.
- Add vanilla extract to the egg mixture and whisk to combine.
- Slowly add the melted chocolate mixture to the eggs, whisking constantly to avoid cooking the eggs.
- Sift all purpose flour over the mixture and gently fold in until just combined.
- For the batter into the prepared ramekin.
- Place ramekin on a baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes until the edges are set but the center is still soft.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 1 minute.
- Run a knife around the edges to loosen the cake and invert onto a plate.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
