- 40 g rolled oats
- 30 g all purpose flour
- 30 g unsalted butter softened
- 25 g brown sugar packed
- 15 g granulated sugar
- 1 piece large egg yolk
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 0.25 teaspoon baking soda
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 40 g semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175 C (350 F).
- In a bowl, cream together softened unsalted butter, brown sugar packed, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add large egg yolk and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together all purpose flour, rolled oats, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in semi sweet chocolate chips evenly into the dough.
- Scoop dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing cookies about 5 cm apart.
- Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cookies cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
