  • 10 g mandarin orange peel fresh
  • 1 piece vanilla bean split
  • 1 piece cinnamon stick medium

  1. Wash mandarin orange thoroughly and peel the skin carefully avoiding the white pith.
  2. Place the mandarin orange peel, split vanilla bean, and cinnamon stick into a clean glass jar.
  3. For 50 ml of white rum over the ingredients in the jar.
  4. Seal the jar tightly and store it in a cool dark place for 3 days to infuse.
  5. After 3 days, strain the rum through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a clean bottle.
  6. Discard the solids and seal the bottle for storage.
  7. Serve the mandarin infused rum chilled or use it as a base for tropical cocktails.
