  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the large eggs and granulated white sugar until the mixture is smooth and slightly frothy.
  3. Add the unsweetened almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the egg mixture. Whisk gently until fully combined.
  4. Strain the custard mixture through a fine sieve into a clean bowl to ensure a smooth texture.
  5. For the custard mixture evenly into a small heatproof ramekin or flan mold.
  6. Place the ramekin in a baking dish and fill the dish with hot water halfway up the sides of the ramekin to create a water bath.
  7. Carefully transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the custard is set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
  8. Remove the ramekin from the water bath and let it cool to room temperature.
  9. Refrigerate the custard for at least 2 hours before serving to allow it to fully set and chill.
