- 150 g ground turkey (lean)
- 40 g wild rice uncooked
- 50 g carrot diced
- 30 g celery stalk diced
- 50 g yellow onion diced
- 1 piece garlic clove minced
- 400 ml low sodium chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin
- 0.5 teaspoon dried thyme
- 0.5 teaspoon dried parsley
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper ground

- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add diced yellow onion and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
- Add minced garlic clove and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

- For in low sodium chicken broth and bring to a boil.
