- 250 g veal chop bone-in
- 100 g white button mushrooms sliced
- 15 g unsalted butter
- 1 piece garlic clove minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- 10 ml olive oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper ground

- Remove veal chop from fridge and pat dry with paper towel.
- Season both sides of the veal chop with salt and ground black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Place veal chop in the skillet and cook for 4 minutes without moving it.
- Flip the veal chop and cook for another 4 minutes for medium doneness.
- Remove veal chop from skillet and cover loosely with foil to rest.
- In the same skillet, add unsalted butter and minced garlic clove.
- Add sliced white button mushrooms and fresh thyme leaves to skillet.
- Saut mushrooms for 5 minutes until golden and tender, stirring occasionally.
- Season mushrooms with a pinch of salt and pepper, then remove from heat.
- Serve veal chop topped with saut mushrooms and enjoy immediately.
