- 50 g dark chocolate 70% cocoa
- 30 g unsalted butter
- 20 g granulated sugar
- 1 piece large egg
- 15 g all-purpose flour
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch powdered sugar for dusting

- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces for easy melting.
- In a heatproof bowl, combine the chopped dark chocolate and unsalted butter.
- Melt the chocolate and butter together over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth.
- Remove the bowl from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the large egg and granulated sugar until pale and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract to the egg mixture and mix well.
- Gently fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.
- Sift the all-purpose flour over the mixture and fold it in carefully to combine without deflating.
- For the batter into a greased small baking dish or ramekin.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes until the top is set but the center is still soft.
