- 50 g fresh blueberries
- 15 g granulated sugar
- 3 g active dry yeast
- 80 ml whole milk warm
- 15 g unsalted butter melted
- 1 piece lemon zest finely grated

- In a small bowl, dissolve the active dry yeast in warm whole milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt.
- Add the melted unsalted butter, lemon zest, and the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients.
- Mix all ingredients until a sticky dough forms.
- Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Gently fold in the fresh blueberries, being careful not to crush them.
- Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a round loaf.
- Place the loaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and cover again. Let it rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Bake the bread for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
