- 200 g ripe red tomato diced
- 1 piece garlic clove minced
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 5 g fresh basil leaves chopped
- 30 g onion small diced
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper ground

- Wash and dice the ripe red tomatoes into small pieces.
- Peel and finely dice the small onion.
- Peel and mince the garlic clove.
- Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion to the pan and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant, stirring frequently.
- Add the diced tomatoes to the pan and stir to combine with onion and garlic.
- Add salt and ground black pepper to the mixture and stir well.

- Chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the sauce in the last 5 minutes of cooking.
