  • 150 g skinless chicken breast
  • 100 g raw shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 15 g unsalted butter
  • 1 piece shallot minced
  • 1 piece garlic clove minced
  • 60 ml aged Banyuls wine
  • 100 ml chicken broth low sodium
  • 30 ml heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper ground

  1. Pat dry the skinless chicken breast and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Season chicken pieces with salt and ground black pepper.
  3. Heat unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat until melted and hot.
  4. Add minced shallot and garlic clove to the skillet and cook until softened and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  5. Add chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until lightly browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  6. Add raw shrimp peeled and deveined to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3 minutes.
  7. For aged Banyuls wine into the skillet and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
  8. Add low sodium chicken broth and fresh thyme leaves, then simmer the sauce until slightly reduced, about 5 minutes.
  9. Stir in heavy cream and cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce is creamy and coats the chicken and shrimp.
  10. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed, then remove from heat and serve immediately.
