- 150 g fresh sea scallops
- 15 g unsalted butter
- 1 piece garlic clove minced
- 1 piece shallot finely diced
- 30 ml dry white wine
- 30 ml heavy cream
- 5 g fresh parsley chopped
- 5 ml lemon juice fresh
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper ground

- Pat dry the fresh sea scallops with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Heat unsalted butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until melted and hot.
- Add the fresh sea scallops to the skillet and sear for 2 minutes on one side without moving them.
- Flip the scallops carefully and cook for another 2 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Remove scallops from skillet and set aside on a warm plate.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic clove and finely diced shallot, cook for 1 minute until fragrant and translucent.
- For in dry white wine and let it simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Add heavy cream and fresh lemon juice, stir and cook for 2 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- Season the sauce with salt and ground black pepper to taste.
- Return scallops to the skillet and spoon sauce over them, cook for 1 minute to warm through.
- Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the scallops before serving.
