- 1 piece ripe banana peeled
- 15 g unsalted butter
- 10 g brown sugar
- 30 ml dark rum
- 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- Peel the ripe banana and slice it lengthwise into two halves.
- Heat unsalted butter in a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat until melted and foamy.
- Add brown sugar and ground cinnamon to the skillet and stir gently until the sugar dissolves and forms a syrup.
- Place the banana halves in the skillet cut side down and cook for 2 minutes until they start to caramelize.
- Carefully flip the banana halves and cook for another 1 minute on the other side.
