- 1 piece large egg
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 30 g shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 5 g fresh parsley chopped
- 5 g fresh chives chopped
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper ground

- In a small bowl, combine warm whole milk, active dry yeast, and granulated sugar. Stir gently and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- In a large mixing bowl, add all-purpose flour and salt. Mix well.
- Add the yeast mixture, melted unsalted butter, and large egg to the flour mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- In a small bowl, mix shredded sharp cheddar cheese, ground cinnamon, chopped fresh parsley, chopped fresh chives, and ground black pepper.
- Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about 20x15 cm.
- Evenly spread the cheese and herb mixture over the dough rectangle.
- Starting from one long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log shape.
- Cut the log into 4 equal pieces and place them cut side up in a greased small baking dish.
- Cover the rolls with a towel and let them rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
