- 50 g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
- 30 g unsalted butter
- 25 g granulated sugar
- 1 piece large egg yolk
- 20 g all-purpose flour
- 15 g sweetened shredded coconut
- 15 g chopped pecans
- 20 ml evaporated milk
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Line a mini muffin pan with paper liners or lightly grease it.
- In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter together over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth.
- Remove the bowl from heat and whisk in the granulated sugar until combined.
- Add the large egg yolk and vanilla extract, whisking well to incorporate.
- Sift the all-purpose flour into the mixture and gently fold it in until just combined.
- In a separate small bowl, mix the sweetened shredded coconut, chopped pecans, and evaporated milk to create the coconut-pecan topping.
- Spoon half of the chocolate batter evenly into the mini muffin cups.
- Add a small spoonful of the coconut-pecan topping on top of the chocolate batter in each cup.
- Cover the topping with the remaining chocolate batter, filling each cup almost to the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Remove from oven and allow the cake bites to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
