  • 60 ml heavy cream
  • 10 g unsalted butter
  • 1 piece garlic clove minced
  • 15 g parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 piece green onion sliced
  • 1 pinch black pepper ground
  • 1 pinch salt

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add cheese tortellini fresh to boiling water and cook according to package instructions until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. While tortellini cooks, heat unsalted butter in a medium skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add minced garlic clove to the skillet and saute for 1 minute until fragrant, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
  5. Reduce heat to low and stir in gochujang Korean chili paste, mixing well with the butter and garlic.
  6. For heavy cream into the skillet and stir to combine with the gochujang mixture, heating gently for 2 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Drain cooked tortellini and add it to the skillet with the sauce, tossing gently to coat all pieces evenly.
  8. Add grated parmesan cheese and sliced green onion to the skillet, stirring to combine and melt the cheese into the sauce.
  9. Season with a pinch of salt and ground black pepper to taste, mixing well.
  10. Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnished with extra green onion if desired.
