  • 50 g red bell pepper diced
  • 40 g onion diced
  • 1 piece garlic clove minced
  • 5 g fresh ginger minced
  • 60 g tomato pureed
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 0.25 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 5 g fresh cilantro chopped
  • 30 ml water

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add ground cumin, ground coriander, red chili powder, and turmeric powder; stir well for 30 seconds.
  5. Add pureed tomato and salt; cook for 5 minutes until oil separates from the masala.
  6. Add diced red bell pepper and water; stir and cook for 3 minutes.
  7. Add raw shrimp to the skillet; stir to coat with the masala.
  8. Cook shrimp for 4-5 minutes until pink and cooked through.
  9. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro before serving.
