- 100 g spaghetti pasta dry
- 1 piece hard-boiled egg peeled
- 30 g Gruyere cheese grated
- 10 g unsalted butter
- 30 ml whole milk
- 1 pinch black pepper ground
- 1 pinch salt

Instructions
- Fill a medium pot with water and add a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Add the spaghetti pasta dry to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- While pasta cooks, place the egg in a small pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 9 minutes for hard-boiled.
- Drain the cooked spaghetti and reserve 30 ml of pasta water.
- Peel the hard-boiled egg and chop it into small pieces.
- In the same pot used for pasta, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Add the reserved pasta water and whole milk to the melted butter and stir to combine.
- Add the cooked spaghetti back into the pot and toss to coat with the butter and milk mixture.
- Stir in the grated Gruyere cheese until melted and creamy.
- Add the chopped hard-boiled egg to the pasta and gently mix to combine.
- Season with a pinch of salt and ground black pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately while warm.
