  • 0.125 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter and packed brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the dark molasses to the butter and sugar mixture and mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls about 2.5 cm (1 inch) in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 5 cm (2 inches) apart.
