- 150 g skinless chicken breast diced
- 50 g white onion diced
- 1 piece garlic clove minced
- 15 g unsalted butter
- 50 ml whole milk
- 10 g all purpose flour
- 30 g grated Gruyere cheese
- 5 g fresh parsley chopped
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper ground

- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 Fahrenheit).
- Melt unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add diced white onion and minced garlic clove to the butter and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
- Add diced skinless chicken breast to the pan and cook until no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle all purpose flour over the chicken mixture and stir well to coat.
- Slowly For whole milk into the pan while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- Cook the sauce until it thickens, about 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove the pan from heat and stir in grated Gruyere cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a small ovenproof dish and sprinkle chopped fresh parsley on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
