  • 30 g blue cheese crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 15 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 45 ml olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper ground

  1. Wash and chop romaine lettuce leaves into bite-sized pieces and place in a large salad bowl.
  2. Cook skinless chicken breast by grilling or pan-frying until fully cooked, then dice into small cubes.
  3. Hard boil one egg by placing it in boiling water for 10 minutes, then peel and chop it.
  4. Cook two bacon strips in a pan until crispy, drain excess fat, then crumble into small pieces.
  5. Peel and dice half a ripe avocado into small cubes.
  6. Wash and halve cherry tomatoes.
  7. Crumble blue cheese into small pieces.
  8. Prepare the brown French dressing by whisking together brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and ground black pepper in a small bowl until smooth.
  9. Arrange the chopped lettuce on a serving plate or bowl as a base.
