  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 piece puff pastry sheet
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper ground

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius (about 400 Fahrenheit).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add diced onion and minced garlic clove; cook until soft and translucent, about 3 minutes.
  5. Add diced skinless chicken thigh to the skillet; cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
  6. Add sliced red and green bell peppers to the skillet; cook for 4 minutes until slightly softened.
  7. Add diced ripe tomato, smoked paprika, fresh thyme leaves, salt, and ground black pepper; stir and cook for 3 minutes to combine flavors.
  8. Remove skillet from heat and let the filling cool slightly.
  9. Spread the cooked filling evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 2 cm border around edges.
  10. Fold the edges of the pastry slightly over the filling to create a rustic tart shape.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until the pastry is golden and crisp.
