- 250 g beef short ribs bone-in
- 30 ml soy sauce low sodium
- 15 g brown sugar packed
- 1 piece garlic clove minced
- 5 g fresh ginger grated
- 10 ml sesame oil toasted
- 10 ml rice vinegar
- 10 ml honey
- 1 piece green onion sliced
- 1 pinch black pepper ground
- 30 ml water

- Place beef short ribs in a large bowl.
- Add soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic clove, grated fresh ginger, toasted sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, and black pepper to the bowl.
- For water into the bowl to help mix the marinade.
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly to coat the ribs evenly.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best flavor.
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Remove ribs from marinade, letting excess drip off.
- Grill ribs for about 4-5 minutes per side until nicely charred and cooked through.
- While grilling, baste ribs occasionally with reserved marinade to enhance glaze.
- Remove ribs from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with sliced green onion before serving.
