- 150 g mixed berries frozen
- 5 g fresh mint leaves chopped
- 100 ml water
- 20 g granulated sugar
- 10 ml fresh lemon juice

- In a small saucepan, combine water and granulated sugar.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves completely to make simple syrup.
- Remove the simple syrup from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
- In a blender, add frozen mixed berries, chopped fresh mint leaves, cooled simple syrup, and fresh lemon juice.
- Blend until smooth and well combined.
- For the mixture into a shallow metal or glass baking dish.
- Place the dish in the freezer for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, use a fork to scrape and break up the ice crystals forming around the edges.
- Return the dish to the freezer.
- Repeat scraping every 30 minutes for about 2 to 3 hours until the granita is fully frozen and fluffy.
- Scoop the granita into serving glasses and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint if desired.
