  • 30 ml whole milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 30 g cream cheese softened
  • 20 g powdered sugar
  • 20 g unsalted butter softened for frosting
  • 2 piece red candy-coated chocolate pieces
  • 2 piece mini pretzel twists
  • 2 piece mini chocolate chips

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, beat unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add half a large egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
  6. Alternately add the dry ingredients and whole milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  7. Divide the batter evenly into the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
  8. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove cupcakes from oven and let cool completely on a wire rack.
  10. For the frosting, beat softened cream cheese and unsalted butter until smooth.
  11. Gradually add powdered sugar and beat until creamy and fluffy.
  12. Frost the cooled cupcakes with the cream cheese frosting.
  13. Place two mini chocolate chips on each cupcake for the eyes.
  14. Insert two mini pretzel twists at the top of each cupcake to resemble antlers.
  15. Place one red candy-coated chocolate piece below the eyes to create the reindeer's nose.
