  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 60 g zucchini grated
  • 30 ml vegetable oil
  • 1 piece large egg
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 60 ml hot water

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. Grease a small cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, sift together all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In a separate large bowl, whisk granulated sugar and vegetable oil until combined.
  5. Add the large egg and vanilla extract to the sugar and oil mixture and whisk until smooth.
  6. Stir in the grated zucchini into the wet ingredients.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
