- 50 g granulated sugar
- 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
- 0.25 teaspoon baking soda
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 60 g zucchini grated
- 30 ml vegetable oil
- 1 piece large egg
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 60 ml hot water

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Grease a small cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, sift together all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, whisk granulated sugar and vegetable oil until combined.
- Add the large egg and vanilla extract to the sugar and oil mixture and whisk until smooth.
- Stir in the grated zucchini into the wet ingredients.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
- For in the hot water and stir until the batter is smooth and well blended.
- For the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
