  • 2 piece mini sandwich roll
  • 30 g thinly sliced coppa ham
  • 40 g fresh ricotta cheese
  • 3 piece fresh basil leaves
  • 5 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice each mini sandwich roll horizontally to create a top and bottom half.
  2. Spread 20 g of fresh ricotta cheese evenly on the bottom half of each roll.
  3. Place 15 g of thinly sliced coppa ham on top of the ricotta on each sandwich base.
  4. Add 1 to 2 fresh basil leaves on top of the coppa ham for fresh flavor.
  5. Drizzle about 2.5 ml of extra virgin olive oil over the basil leaves on each sandwich.
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of freshly ground black pepper over the ingredients on each sandwich.
  7. Spread the remaining 20 g of ricotta cheese on the inside of each top half of the sandwich rolls.
  8. Close the sandwiches by placing the top halves onto the bottoms, pressing gently to hold together.
  9. Serve immediately or chill for 10 minutes before serving for a cooler bite. Enjoy!
