  • 50 g yellow bell pepper diced
  • 15 ml olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 piece garlic clove minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 100 ml tomato sauce plain
  • 5 g fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 1 pinch salt fine
  • 1 pinch black pepper ground

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add fresh cheese ravioli to boiling water and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until tender.
  3. While ravioli cooks, heat extra virgin olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add minced garlic clove to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant, stirring frequently.
  5. Add diced red, green, and yellow bell peppers to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes until softened.
  6. Stir in crushed red pepper flakes and cook for 30 seconds to release flavor.
  7. For tomato sauce into the skillet and stir to combine with peppers and spices.
  8. Simmer the sauce for 5 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally.
  9. Drain cooked ravioli and transfer to the skillet with the spicy three-pepper sauce.
  10. Add chopped fresh basil leaves, salt, and ground black pepper to taste, then gently toss to coat ravioli evenly.
  11. Serve immediately on a warm plate, garnished with extra basil if desired.
