  • 50 g canned diced tomatoes
  • 50 g kidney beans canned drained

  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper ground
  • 50 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10 g jalapeno pepper sliced
  • 5 g fresh cilantro chopped
  • 30 g sour cream

  1. Preheat oven to 220 degrees Celsius (425 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. Spread frozen French fries evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden, turning halfway.
  3. While fries bake, heat a skillet over medium heat and add ground beef.
  4. Cook ground beef until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  5. Add diced yellow onion, red bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet with beef; cook until vegetables soften, about 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in canned diced tomatoes, drained kidney beans, chili powder, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Simmer the chili mixture for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  8. Remove fries from oven and transfer to an oven-safe dish or keep on baking sheet.
  9. Spread the chili mixture evenly over the fries.
  10. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously over the chili and fries.
