  • 50 ml whole milk
  • 20 g white granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 piece cinnamon stick
  • 2 piece clove whole
  • 30 ml dark rum
  • 100 ml water

  1. Grind the dark roasted coffee beans to a medium-fine consistency.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the ground coffee, water, cinnamon stick, and whole cloves.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat, then reduce to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the coffee mixture steep for 10 minutes to extract flavors.
  5. Strain the coffee mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a clean container, discarding solids.
  6. Add the white granulated sugar to the hot coffee and stir until fully dissolved.
  7. Allow the sweetened coffee to cool to room temperature.
  8. Once cooled, stir in the whole milk and pure vanilla extract until well combined.
  9. Add the dark rum to the mixture and stir gently to blend all ingredients.
  10. For the liqueur into a clean bottle or jar and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
