  • 80 g brown lentils dry
  • 50 g carrot peeled diced
  • 30 g celery stalk diced
  • 50 g yellow onion diced
  • 1 piece garlic clove minced
  • 250 ml vegetable broth low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 piece bay leaf dried
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper ground

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add diced pork shoulder and brown on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove pork and set aside.
  4. Add diced onion, carrot, celery, and minced garlic to the pot.

  6. Add dried thyme and bay leaf, stir to combine.
  7. Return pork shoulder to the pot.
