- 150 g blood sausage piece
- 1 piece apple medium
- 15 g unsalted butter
- 10 ml olive oil
- 30 g onion small diced
- 1 piece fresh thyme sprig
- 1 pinch black pepper ground
- 1 pinch salt

- Peel the apple and cut it into thin slices about 5 mm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Add the blood sausage pieces to the skillet and cook for 3 minutes on each side until browned and heated through.
- Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
- Add the unsalted butter to the same skillet and melt it over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and cook for 3 minutes until softened and translucent.
- Add the apple slices and fresh thyme sprig to the skillet.
- Cook the apples and onions together for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender but not mushy.
- Season the apple and onion mixture with a pinch of salt and ground black pepper to taste.
- Return the blood sausage pieces to the skillet and warm everything together for 1 minute.
- Remove the thyme sprig and transfer the sausage and apple mixture to a serving plate.
