  • 150 g ground beef (lean)
  • 100 g frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 120 ml cream of mushroom soup (canned)
  • 50 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 100 g frozen tater tots
  • 50 g onion diced
  • 1 piece garlic clove minced
  • 10 g unsalted butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper ground

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius (375 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the unsalted butter.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic clove to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  4. Add the ground beef (lean) to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  5. Season the beef mixture with salt and ground black pepper, stir well.
  6. Add the frozen mixed vegetables to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes to thaw slightly.
  7. For the cream of mushroom soup into the skillet and mix all ingredients thoroughly.
  8. Transfer the beef and vegetable mixture into a small baking dish, spreading evenly.
  9. Top the mixture with frozen tater tots, covering the surface completely.
  10. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the tater tots.
  11. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes or until the tater tots are golden and crispy and cheese is melted.
  12. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
