  • 100 g cooked rice white
  • 75 g ground beef lean
  • 30 g onion diced
  • 1 piece garlic clove minced
  • 50 ml tomato sauce canned
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin
  • 20 g grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 pinch salt fine
  • 1 pinch black pepper ground

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 Fahrenheit).
  2. Cut the top off the red bell pepper and remove seeds and membranes carefully.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add diced onion and minced garlic clove to the skillet and cook until soft and translucent, about 3 minutes.
  5. Add ground beef lean to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  6. Stir in cooked white rice and canned tomato sauce, mixing well.
  7. Season the mixture with a pinch of fine salt and ground black pepper.
  8. Fill the hollowed red bell pepper with the beef and rice mixture.
  9. Place the stuffed pepper upright in a baking dish.
  10. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top of the stuffed pepper.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the pepper is tender and cheese is melted and golden.
  12. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
