  • 100 g canned Spam sliced
  • 1 piece slider bun
  • 1 piece cheddar cheese slice
  • 2 piece dill pickle slice
  • 5 ml yellow mustard
  • 5 g unsalted butter
  • 1 piece lettuce leaf

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Slice the canned Spam into 100 gram thick slices.
  3. Place the Spam slices in the skillet and cook for 3 minutes on each side until browned and heated through.
  4. While Spam cooks, slice the slider bun horizontally.
  5. Spread unsalted butter on the cut sides of the slider bun.
  6. Toast the buttered bun halves in a separate pan or toaster until golden brown.
  7. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the cooked Spam slice in the skillet to melt slightly.
  8. Remove Spam and cheese from skillet and place on the bottom half of the toasted slider bun.
  9. Add two dill pickle slices on top of the cheese.
  10. Add one fresh lettuce leaf on top of the pickles.
  11. Spread 5 ml of yellow mustard on the top half of the slider bun.
  12. Close the slider with the top bun half and serve immediately.

  • Do not overcook Spam to avoid dryness.
  • Add mustard to taste for extra flavor.
