  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 20 g unsalted butter melted
  • 40 ml whole milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. Preheat your oven to 190 degrees Celsius (375 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the fresh blueberries with 15 grams of granulated sugar and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, combine the all purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining 10 grams of granulated sugar.
  4. Add the melted unsalted butter, whole milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined to form a batter.
  5. For the blueberry mixture into a small baking dish or ovenproof ramekin.
  6. Spoon the batter evenly over the blueberries, covering them completely.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the batter comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
