  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg yolk and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together all purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  6. Fold in the white sesame seeds evenly into the dough.
