  • 150 g mirabelle plums pitted and halved
  • 100 ml whole milk
  • 1 piece large egg
  • 30 g all purpose flour
  • 20 g granulated sugar
  • 10 g unsalted butter melted
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. Butter a small ovenproof dish or ramekin with some unsalted butter.
  3. Arrange the pitted and halved mirabelle plums evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk the large egg and granulated sugar until the mixture is smooth and slightly frothy.
  5. Add the all purpose flour and pinch of salt to the egg mixture and whisk until fully combined with no lumps.
  6. Slowly For in the whole milk and vanilla extract while whisking to create a smooth batter.

  8. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 to 35 minutes until the clafoutis is puffed and golden around the edges.
