- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
- Let the gratin rest for 10 minutes before serving to allow it to set and cool slightly.
