  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract pure

  • 10 g granulated sugar for topping

  1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees Celsius (300 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together egg yolk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg until smooth and pale.
