  • 150 g ground beef lean
  • 50 g red bell pepper diced
  • 50 g yellow onion diced
  • 1 piece garlic clove minced
  • 100 g canned diced tomatoes
  • 80 g kidney beans drained
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper ground
  • 100 ml water

  1. Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add diced yellow onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic clove and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add ground beef lean and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  5. Stir in diced red bell pepper and cook for 3 minutes.
  6. Add chili powder and ground cumin, stir well to coat the meat and vegetables.
  7. For in canned diced tomatoes and water, stir to combine.
  8. Add drained kidney beans, salt, and black pepper, mix well.
  9. Bring chili to a simmer, reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
