- 30 ml soy sauce low sodium
- 15 ml white vinegar
- 2 piece garlic clove minced
- 5 piece black peppercorns whole
- 1 piece bay leaf dried
- 5 g brown sugar
- 50 ml water
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil vegetable
- 50 g onion sliced
- 10 g green onion chopped

- Heat vegetable cooking oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sliced onion to the skillet and cook until fragrant and translucent, about 3 minutes.
- Add skinless chicken thighs to the skillet and brown on all sides for about 5 minutes.
- For in low sodium soy sauce, white vinegar, and water into the skillet.
- Add whole black peppercorns, dried bay leaf, and brown sugar to the mixture.
- Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover the skillet.
- Simmer the chicken in the sauce for 25 minutes or until fully cooked and tender.
- Remove the lid and increase heat to medium to reduce the sauce slightly, about 5 minutes.
- Discard the bay leaf and sprinkle chopped green onion over the chicken before serving.
